How long is the line?
10? 20? 50?
Well, I'm not very good at guessing numbers but it goes all the way around the corner now. :) We had one rather arsey guy who tried to queue jump to the front of the queue but the security swiftly dealed with him at which point he screamed that we were all sad loser geeks.

Friday is usually the miscellaneous sessions day, when the less important (or popular I might say) sessions are held. Of course you can leave whenever you want but Friday is still a full day. I would plan on staying the entire day if you can. Leaving Saturday morning is best as you can relax on Friday :)
Last year, in the original schedule, all sessions on Friday ended before lunch and lunch was the last item on the schedule. During the week, they added a couple of repeat sessions in the first slot after lunch. But, still, all sessions were over by 3PM.
I don't expect Apple to post the full schedule 'till a couple weeks before the conference. (I agree it would be nice if they posted it sooner.)

Because you do contracts for the Department of the Navy does not mean you know everything. Also there is more tax dollars going to waste every DAY with the current administration.
Trust me I served for 21 years and saw waste fraud and abuse, and there aint a dam thing your going to do, as soon as you blow the whistle your career is down the toilet and that is active duty personnel and the civilian workers also.
This about sums it up to the OP you are replying to here. I've been in for 6 years (a bit less than you obviously) but I do concur.

The White iPhones are new and the black iPhones they are comparing them to are older devices.
The iPhone 4 is just so awesome that it shrinks over time. It is the new planned obsolescence/green solution. In 100 years they with shrink down to nothing.

I assume that means you could go back and start over on that machine though if you wanted

Apple should've held out on the refresh to include USB 3 and even HDMI. Thunderbolt is currently useless.
DisplayPort to HDMI cables that support both audio and video are quite inexpensive from many online sources. I use one from my iMac to my 40" LCD TV and the DP port takes up a good bit less space than an HDMI port would (which can be important for a portable device).

"AT&T may 'periodically modify [their] promotions and distribution channels.'"
Not so much doubt cast, unless one believes that such periodic modifications are random and mercurial.
AT&T sucks, plain & simple. They've been allowed to score big w/ their exclusive iPhone contract, and think that marketing will remedy the problem.
Wake up Apple.

I know what some of the plans are as I met the reps from Apple when they came to visit us.
edit: ...and as mentioned, some of you have no concept about the military at all. It's pretty amusing actually.

Is this a gloating post or are you going to share what you believe to be some of the concepts?

It was announced, see http://blog.officeformac.com/coming-soon-office-for-mac-2011-sp1/ that with SP1, contacts, calendar and notes can now be synced through iTunes. BUT it doesn't! Anyone know what happened?

....Anyways, if you don't want to sell something to somebody for WHATEVER reason, no matter how ridiculous, shouldn't that be your right?
inevitably your right to do "whatever" starts to be limited when your actions infringe on somebody else's rights or cause harm to others.
In any event, federal/state/local governments all have the right to regulate commerce so your "rights" when it comes to operating a business are already limited and regulated

Looks like an excellent update. By the looks of things they've reduced the system requirements, which may mean it will be less of a resource hog.
The MacBook is now officially supported, along with older PowerPC models too.
Kudos to Apple for making it a free update, although there'd have justifiably been an outcry if it wasn't.
Edit: RAW support updates also point to OS X 10.4.8 being released this week too (as per previous poster's observation).

Yes it does. It supplies a small amount of power to polarise the electret mic in the headset.
No, it doesn't. The line-in port does not supply power for a microphone.
