And a HUGE YAWN to Atari's greatest hits. I downloaded it for my DOUCHE-iPad and tried out the free pong game. As usual, smudge screen controls are shite for most games that require reflex. But it's definitely easier to play them on a larger screen than a tiny phone screen, where one's thumbs cover a large portion of the screen.
If I had an iCade, I'd buy some of the arcade games from the collection, but not the Atari games... But the problem there, is then I've lost portability.
And on this subject about old games. On my Nexus One, my Android phone, I have an emulator for all my favorite consoles, including of which the Atari. I bought/downloaded all my emulators directly from Android's Market Place -- something I'd have to jailbreak my iPad to do -- and with a utility I downloaded, I can connect my Wiimote to my phone via bluetooth and then plug my Classic Controller into it for superb controls. The only glaring issue here, is that for portability, this is not practical. Now if only someone would release a tiny Bluetooth joystick at a local retail store, I'd buy it.
Anyways, I wants the VC on my DS, as its controls are integrated and nice. Here's hoping that Nintendo will allow me to transfer the games I bought for the Wii to the 3DS.

Look at the clock speeds of the offerings from IBM, HP, SGI, and Sun. For the most part, you will see that their machines have clock speeds in the sub-GHz range. Yet these are the machines of choice when price is no object and the job must get done. Just think about this: these boards are filled with laments that effectively tell you that you need substaintially higher clock speeds to run a computer game than you need to simulate the gas flow in a jet engine. Don't you think that something is just a bit warped here?

We just need a new chip - g5, power4, what ever. We need a chip that can go head to head against the Wintel world and not rely on 2 processors to try and keep up (and even now, this isn't working)
Its very frustrating and I hope Apple will all make us happy sometime soon.

This is not surprising. All the Chinese resellers who were buying iPads in NYC are unlikely to buy the Verizon CDMA, because it cannot be used abroad. The GSM version (i.e. the ATT version) is one that can be used in most places abroad, as long as the iPad is unlocked.
What about all the white resellers?
Oh you'd never know who those were, would you? I guess it's probably just best to assume that every asian in the line is there to buy one that would otherwise be used by a toe-headed little white boy, while every white/black in line is just trying to show his support for his favorite company.

I hope all the features of IOS 5 will be supported on Iphone 4. I am in a 2 year contract right now and will have to wait till Iphone 6 comes out to get a new handset.
I know I can sell my current iphone 4 and get the iphone 5, but if all the features of IOS 5 be supported on iphone 4, i wont bother. Its too much hassle lol.
Then again what are the chances of Iphone 5 being a speed bump like 3G to 3GS?

We use RFID chips in ID card for public transportation here in the Netherlands. I can't say it's the most efficient system but I can see the potential of having one set up in a device you carry with you all the time like an iPhone.

Are your APN entries correct, or your carrier file installed?
Settings > General > About - what is the value for "Carrier"?
Might be worth a reset of your network settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
This will also wipe all stored WiFi entries and their passwords and reboot the phone.
Carrier is Starhub 10.0. The phone was perfectly working before. I've never jailbroke this phone before. I'm still under contract with Starhub.
I've tried to reset the network setting already. Also reset the phone as well. Nothing is working. :(

Efoto, if you see this girl again, strike up some chit-chat, then smile and ask her casually, "Hey, would you be interested in going out sometime?" Girls don't think it's a big deal; as long as someone isn't pushy or annoying, they don't mind if someone asks, and they find it flattering, even when they say they're not interested. Just do it casually and matter-of-factly, and if she says no, no big deal. At least you won't be wondering if she's interested anymore.

A developer friend of mine tried to download the previous dev release for my system (iMac G5), but it wouldn't install right for some reason. It would hang on restart. I had to re-install from the CD and re-update everything. Even tried disabling all my hacks and startup items, but it just did it again. I believe it was the combo version (2117 I think). I'm thinking it didn't get download right or something though, because he was able to get it working on his (Intel and PPC), a friend of our's (dual G5 PowerMac), and my Mother's (Intel mini). Hoping the new one works better, but if not, at least I know how to fix it. :rolleyes: When it works though, it's fast. Real fast.

I just software stripped 2 * 160Gb Hitachi SATA in XP and got 100 MB/Sec from Sandra. so it works!
